Our Mission Statement

 

As State of Connecticut licensed and certified home inspectors, we will provide the highest level of value and quality of service in our industry. As highly trained and courteous professionals we will act as advocates for our clients, presenting unbiased information in an easy to understand, user friendly format. Our role is to educate our clients as we evaluate the home and be a resource for them both during and after the inspection.

What to Expect From Us

 

Buying or selling a home is likely to be the biggest financial decision you will ever make. The process can involve a considerable amount of stress and financial risk. Our goal is to help reduce your risks and make the process less stressful. We really enjoy helping our clients move smoothly through the process - customer service and satisfaction are our highest priorities.

Our Process

​

Our motto “We Educate as We Evaluate” isn’t just a motto it is how we approach every inspection. We encourage you to follow us through the inspection to see the home through our eyes and have your questions answered. We'll point out issues and explain them in easy to understand, unbiased language. In addition, we'll highlight positive aspects, explain how systems work, point out emergency shut offs, and discuss routine maintenance items. 

 

We typically schedule only one inspection per day so that you can be assured that we have all the time needed to complete a thorough inspection. We do not consider your inspection over until all of your questions have been answered.

Our Report

​

After the inspection you'll receive a state of the art and easy to understand report which includes:

​

• Convenient sections that evaluate separate systems and components. Each section includes a description of the system or component, its positive attributes, items needing corrective measures, safety, repair, or maintenance recommendations, and discretionary improvements.
   

• Informative diagrams, photographs, and even videos taken during the inspection. That enhance your knowledge of the property, but also help illustrate issues to the seller to help achieve a positive negotiation outcome.
   

• A convenient summary section brings all our recommendations together in one convenient place. 
   

• Our Create Request List feature makes it easy to make requests from the seller or create a contractor's punch list.

After the Inspection
